Soul Sunday at Block 1 Soul Club on 3rd May from 2:30pm to 9pm is your chance to experience an incredible day of pure vinyl soul music featuring a fantastic lineup of resident DJs Wheeler Barry and Motown Al alongside guest DJs Stuart Lewis Corr, Mike Taylor, and Nige Jenkinson spinning a brilliant mix of Northern Soul, R&B, Tamla Motown, Ska, MOD and 60s-70s club classics. This long-standing soul venue welcomes up to 180 friendly people in a welcoming atmosphere with limited seating, a fully licensed bar with reasonably priced drinks, and sensible talc use encouraged. You’ll spend the afternoon and evening dancing to great music, meeting like-minded soul lovers, and enjoying the company of friends old and new in one of the community’s most cherished spaces. Admission is just £3.00 cash on the door, with the bar accepting both cash and card payments.
