Mod Night Revival Boogaloo

Join us for a revival of the legendary Nottingham Boogaloo at Oakleigh Lodge in Bulwell, where we celebrate the golden era of 60s beat, R&B, ska, popcorn, Northern Soul, Two Tone and Mod Revival with an incredible lineup of guest DJs including Mark Shaw from Britalian Job, Mark Peachornby of Skaman Peachy Boss Shot Sounds, Pete Welbourne from Mod Clothing in Melton Mowbray, Gaz Archer who was resident at the original Boogaloo, and Jon Smith from Mal’s Soul Nights and Nottingham Northern Soul and Motown. Dance the night away on our large sprung wooden dance floor in an air-conditioned room with a spacious lounge offering 350 capacity, complete with off-street parking and easy access close to Highbury Vale Tram Stop. This is a genuine celebration of the sounds and spirit that made the Boogaloo such an iconic part of Nottingham’s soul scene.
