Soul Disco Night

An Explosion of Soul is back at Townhill Bowling and Recreation Club on Saturday 25th April for an unforgettable night of authentic soul music running from 7.30pm until midnight. Captain Ron, known affectionately as The Old Man of Soul, and George Wallace will be spinning the finest soul vinyl alongside a fabulous sound and light show to keep you dancing all night long. This is a friendly, welcoming event with a great dance floor, good bar prices, and plenty of free parking at the nearby car park, with tickets just £5 whether you prebook or pay at the door. An Explosion of Soul returns on the last Saturday of each month throughout 2026, so whether you’re coming with friends or flying solo, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting for you.
