The Alternator

Join the All Night Alternator for nine hours of pure soul dancing from 9pm to 6am at the Burton Caribbean Association, a vibrant community charity space with a fantastic dancefloor. This intimate gathering is capped at 120 dancers, so contact Diane Naylor via text or messenger to secure your spot on the travel list. Resident DJs Diane Naylor and Mark Sargeant will be joined by an impressive lineup of guest selectors including Neil Toplis, Matt Bates, Brian Maguire, Caroline Dann, Col and Gaye Kidson, and Dean Read, spinning gritty alternative soul, funk, gospel and all things with a soulful vibe. Entry is cash on the door with cash or card available at the bar, and the crew encourages you to bring non-perishable donations for the venue’s food bank while record sellers are welcome to set up in the bar area.
