Join the celebration of seven wonderful years as resident DJs Gordy Boler and Dave Bamford take to the decks spinning a fantastic blend of Northern Oldies, R&B, Motown and Youth Club Classics that’ll have you moving all night long. It’s a talc-friendly venue with an excellent maple sprung dancefloor perfect for those smooth moves, set in a large beautiful room with reasonable bar prices and a lift available for anyone who needs it. Membership is just £2 annually and gives you free entry, while this month’s special guest DJ is the widely respected local and Hasland DJ Dave Shelton who’ll be adding extra energy to the dance floor. Remember to bring cash as the card machine upstairs isn’t working, but that’s a small price to pay for a night of proper Northern Soul in a welcoming community space.
